A Japanese-German company that was created from the merger of Demag Plastics Group and Sumitomo Heavy Industries (SHI) in 2008. Sumitomo (SHI) Demag is the world's dominant manufacturer of electric injection molding machines. The production of machines is based on the technology of electric, hybrid and hydraulic drives. Machines are produced in the range of 180 to 15.000 kN of closing force.
